New camera models featuring the Sony IMX455, IMX461, and IMX411 sensors are being added to the xiX/xiB camera families. Those larger format sensors (43 - 66mm diag.) are boasting 61MP, 100MP, and 150MP respectively. Despite the small pixel size, the combination of a stacked BSI structure and rolling shutter results in exceptional noise performance and high dynamic range. The sensors are coupled with a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface for a fast 16bit readout as well as a housing design which allows the decoupling of the sensor head and the readout electronics.
